About The Position

Compunetix is seeking an individual to test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. The role involves verifying assemblies against customer and engineering requirements, diagnosing and repairing faults to the component level, and documenting test and repair work. The technician works with engineering and manufacturing personnel to address production issues and improve test processes while maintaining quality, accuracy, productivity, and production schedules.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical field.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting analog and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with customer and engineering requirements.
• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to the component level.
• Interpret schematics, test procedures, and engineering documentation to isolate and resolve faults.
• Complete detailed test reports, repair documentation, and other required records.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve production issues and improve test processes.
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity while meeting production schedules.
