About The Position

We are seeking a highly versatile Engineering Technician / Project Manager to support both engineering, production, and project coordination. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys production challenges, and can effectively manage project details from concept through completion. The position bridges engineering and production to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or technical project environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Experience with BOM management, ERP systems, and project tracking tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in regulated or quality-driven production environments
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
  • Strong understanding of CAD principles with high proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software.
  • Vendor management or sourcing experience
  • Knowledge of suspension systems or experience in the motorcycle industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support shop floor production activities including fixturing, production troubleshooting, prototyping, and process improvements
  • Assist with tooling design, modifications, and implementation to support production efficiency
  • Fabrication skills to support production and new product development.
  • Source and obtain vendor quotes; coordinate with suppliers to support production and project needs
  • Partner with engineers on research and development, assisting in new product development to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Provide Quality Control (QC) support, including inspections, documentation, and corrective actions
  • Manage and track project timelines, deliverables, and priorities across multiple initiatives
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders and leadership
