About The Position

Q.E.D. SYSTEMS, INC., a local marine engineering firm, has immediate full-time positions available for Logistics Support Personnel supporting engineering and technical services related to the integration of logistics products. The role includes creating reports and preparing presentations, charts, graphs, and other data information. Other duties may be assigned.

Candidates must have practical engineering experience involving the operation, testing, maintenance, and repair of naval ship hull, mechanical, electrical, and ordnance equipment and systems, along with experience supervising or managing a Navy 3M Center or ship checking, verification, and technical-documentation updates. Experience may be gained concurrently.

The position requires a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or related military experience. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance. Requirements

• Five years of practical engineering experience, including operation, testing, maintenance, and repair of naval ship hull, mechanical, electrical, and ordnance equipment and systems.
• Two years of experience supervising or managing a Navy 3M Center, or three years of experience in ship checking, verification, and updating technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or related military experience.
• Possess or be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance.
• Pass drug screening before hiring.
