About The Position
Q.E.D. Systems, Inc., a local marine engineering firm, has an immediate full-time position for Logistics Support Personnel supporting engineering and technical services related to the integration of logistics products. The position requires practical engineering experience with naval ship equipment and systems, as well as experience with logistics and maintenance documentation for Navy shipboard systems and equipment. The employee will create reports and prepare presentations, charts, graphs, and other data information. A candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance. Requirements
- Ten years of military or DoD civilian practical engineering experience, including operating, testing, maintaining, and repairing naval ship equipment and systems.
- Two years of experience working with logistics and maintenance documentation for Navy shipboard systems and equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
- Possess or be able to obtain a Secret Government security clearance.
- Pass drug screening before hiring.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of Navy hull, mechanical, and electrical assessment, validation, and inspection programs.
