As an Engineering Technician II, you will modify standardized motor designs to meet customer requirements using lean design principles and guidelines. This job requires a moderate level of electrical and/or mechanical motor design and analysis competency. Requirements

• Enrolled in an engineering or technical program
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Enrolled in an Engineering Program
• 5+ years of electric motor manufacturing experience
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills with experience in IHP motor design and process desired.

Responsibilities

• Creating and modifying drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing to ensure that all customer requirements are met
• Review industry standards for requirements and compliance
• Create and modify BOM’s and other documentation to support customer and manufacturing requirements
• Collaborate with all functions of the business in driving quality and process improvement initiatives
• Will work closely with leaders on expediting documentation changes
