About The Position

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician II to join their Receiving team at their Burnet site. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems. The technician will also perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting of products. This position is part of a team focused on ensuring product quality and meeting customer timelines. The role involves cross-functional collaboration. The shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 rotation on days (6am-6pm) after training and certification.

2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous chemical handling experience
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000
Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
Knowledge of inventory management
SAP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controls
Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment
Sample, fill, and inspect final products
Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product
Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards
Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal
Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship
Propose and implement process improvements
Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts
Other duties as assigned
