About The Position

Osi Vision is currently accepting resumes for an Engineering Technician II. This position requires a Secret clearance that is upgradeable to TS/SCI. The role reports directly to a Material Coordinator Task Lead and functions as a team member contributing to the efficient execution of CPSD requirements within the Demilitarization functional area. The technician will provide direct technical expertise and contributions to daily contract activities, coordinate with supervisors, coworkers, and customers, and follow specific instructions for assembling, constructing, servicing, or repairing equipment. Responsibilities include extracting and processing engineering data, conducting tests, and preparing test specimens. The role also involves following standard work methods for recurring assignments and receiving explicit instructions for new tasks, with routine work reviewed upon completion and non-routine work reviewed in progress. The position is primarily dedicated to demilitarization requirements but includes cross-training to support various program aspects as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance which will have to be upgraded to an TS/SCI if not already held.
  • H.S. Diploma Required
  • Ability to use a desktop computer or laptop.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Programs and pertinent micro-processing programs.

Nice To Haves

  • AA or Bachelors Degree (Technical) preferred
  • A minimum of at least 2-4 years of experience as a Engineering Technician preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adhering to project operational directives, security, and safety requirements as directed in the performance work statement (PWS).
  • Providing direct technical expertise and technical contributions over the day-to-day activities of the contract.
  • Coordinating and cooperating with supervisors, coworkers, and customers to execute duties.
  • Following specific instructions to assemble or construct simple or standard equipment or parts.
  • Servicing or repairing simple instruments or equipment.
  • Extracting engineering data from various prescribed but non-standardized sources.
  • Processing data following well-defined methods.
  • Accountable for meeting established technical, cost, labor, and contract management expectations.
  • Cross-training to support various aspects of the program to meet an as needed requirement.
  • Following standard work methods on recurring assignments and receiving explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments.
  • Conducting a variety of tests using established methods.
  • Preparing test specimens, adjusting and operating equipment, and recording test data, pointing out deviations.
  • Presenting data in a prescribed form.
