About The Position

Assists in the operation and maintenance of manufacturing process systems. Implements cost reduction opportunities, including yield and productivity improvements and waste elimination. Works with and trains bargaining unit employees to enhance work processes and product quality. Addresses and resolves issues related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. Utilizes hand and machine tools, precision gauges, test instruments, and process equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance
• Associate degree in Science, Electronics, or equivalent OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Experience in training individuals
• Ability to handle multiple high priorities; comfort with ambiguity
• Must possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

• Experience with various forms of deposition processes (e-beam evaporation, sputtering) and wet etching processes
• Experience writing MS Access queries
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software; Minitab, JMP, SAS
• Ability to collaborate with all facets of the Night Vision organization
• Comfortable with self-initiating business and professional improvements
• Ability to support the organizational culture and build morale
