Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance
  • Associate degree in Science, Electronics, or equivalent OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in training individuals
  • Ability to handle multiple high priorities; comfort with ambiguity
  • Must possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint…

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various forms of deposition processes (e-beam evaporation, sputtering) and wet etching processes
  • Experience writing MS Access queries
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software; Minitab, JMP, SAS…
  • Ability to collaborate with all facets of the Night Vision organization
  • Comfortable with self-initiating business and professional improvements
  • Ability to support the organizational culture and build morale

Responsibilities

  • Assists in operation of manufacturing process systems and the maintenance thereof
  • Implements cost reduction opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, waste elimination)
  • Works with and trains bargaining unit employees to improve work processes and product quality
  • Works to minimize or eliminate safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity problems
  • Uses hand and machine tools, precision gauges, test instruments, and process equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
