About The Position

Supporting engineering and production activities by assembling and installing components, performing basic to moderately complex tests, and maintaining accurate technical records. Following engineering drawings, applying standard computation methods, documenting test results, and compiling design-related data to identify gaps or inconsistencies. Contributing to product development and troubleshooting through careful execution of wiring, soldering, data plotting, and interpretation of blueprints and schematics.

Requirements

• Associates of Applied Science degree in engineering technology or an engineering discipline and one year of job-related experience OR High School diploma / General Education Development (GED) diploma and three years of job-related experience
• Demonstrated experience assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting
• Demonstrated experience performing simple to medium complexity tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests, operating and adjusting simple test equipment, and recording test data
• Demonstrated experience gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests and drawings
• Demonstrated experience with performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas, plotting data, and drawing simple curves and graphs
• Demonstrated experience compiling data related to design, specifications, materials, previous operational failures, and modifications to identify inconsistencies or gaps in data
• Demonstrated experience reading, interpreting, and understanding blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and other drawings
• U.S. Citizenship
• U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level
