About The Position

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the Government organizations that develop these systems. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in engineering technology OR Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications OR Four-year electronics apprentice program OR High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience with degree/formal training or three (3) years with HS/GED of practical experience to include Electronics Repair, Maintenance and Check out.
  • Formal Electronics training, to include equipment installation and removal tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to travel at least twice a year to 3 designated out of State locations to perform work tasks.
  • Must be able to obtain Secret level clearance, US Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting C4ISR systems integrated into military vehicles and specifically the MRAP variants

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
  • All additional assigned tasks.
