About The Position

PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc., part of the PCL Family of Companies, is seeking Engineering Students for their BC Region district within the Canadian Buildings Division. This is a 4-12 month opportunity starting in January 2027, with the position reporting directly to the Project Manager. Requirements

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

Nice To Haves

• Prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
• Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
• Participation in project meetings
• Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
• Issues warranties
• Takes/coordinates progress photos
• Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
• Performance of quantity takeoffs
• Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
• Set-up and maintenance of records
• Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring of workforce productivity
