About The Position

Requirements

Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or a related field preferred.
A passion for working in a construction environment.
Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.

Nice To Haves

Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Conducting trade quote reviews – verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
Conducting deficiency walks.
Inputting and updating deficiency logs.
Issuing warranties.
Taking/coordinating progress photos.
Updating, coordinating, and producing drawings.
Performing quantity takeoffs.
Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
Setting up and maintaining record keeping.
Updating project schedules.
Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.
Other duties as required.
