About The Position

This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning, managing, and coordinating activities in the area of Engineering within the business unit, based on customer requirements, current standards, and tools for Safety, Quality, and Engineering at Schnellecke Logistics USA. This includes implementing and enforcing organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and organizational standards across all areas of responsibility to achieve the company's vision. It also involves applying procedures to ensure compliance, improving business processes for robustness and efficiency, and conferring with management, production, or business unit staff to discuss project specifications or procedures. The role involves developing and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work, focusing on Continuous Improvement Techniques. Additionally, it requires updating and sharing weekly Manpower documents and supporting the update of "Price per Vehicle" documents based on production and manpower. The position entails coordinating and directing projects with detailed plans and directing the application of Project Management methodology in the business unit.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or equivalent
5 years experience
Analytical Thinker
Exceptional computer and data entry skills
2 years minimum of process planning experience

Responsibilities

Plan, manage and coordinate the activities in the area of Engineering in the business unit, based on the customer requirements, current standards and tools for: Safety, Quality and Engineering in Schnellecke Logistics USA.
Implement and force the organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, organizational standards, over all areas of their responsibility, to achieve the vision of the company.
Apply the procedures in the areas under the responsibility, to ensure compliance with them.
Improve business process, to make robust and efficient process.
Confer with Management, Production, or business unit staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.
Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department focused on Continuous Improvement Techniques.
Update and share weekly Manpower documents in the organization.
Support the update of the "Price per Vehicle" documents based on production and manpower.
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Direct the application of the Project Management methodology in the business unit.
