About The Position

American Concrete Products, a growing precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking an Engineering Services Coordinator. This role will assist with product drafting and engineering, submittal production, estimating, B.O.M. generation, release work, and technical procurement for Make-to-Order and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate pride in work product quality and accuracy, a sense of urgency and professionalism, resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to self-manage priorities. A self-starter who is engaged and interested in actively learning about the company’s products and processes, and who can interpret and present technical documentation, is desired.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in REVU Bluebeam required.
  • Strong computer experience and knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Associates degree or equivalent vocational training.

Nice To Haves

  • AutoCAD/REVIT a major plus.
  • Manufacturing, engineering, mechanical and/or inventory control experience a major plus.
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Civil) a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers, Staff, and Customers to determine submittal requirements post-sale.
  • Compile and bookmark project submittal packages in Bluebeam and manage submittal revision history.
  • Use AutoCAD, MH Pro, and K-Bridge to develop layout and submittal drawings as directed.
  • Maintain submittal library and vendor pricelists to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Draft Bills of Material (B.O.M.), product checklists, and purchase requisitions for vendors for sub-assemblies and components.
  • Follow up on site-direct shipments from vendors, obtain and file Proof of Delivery (P.O.D.), and notify customers.
  • Assist PM team with delivery schedule maintenance in accordance with scheduling guidelines.
  • Assist Engineering & PM teams to publish release work to Manufacturing on deadline.
  • Assist with the preparation of estimates, B.O.M.s, and obtaining vendor quotes for buyouts and customer change orders.
  • Issue customer-facing quotes for after-market accessories and re-orders.
  • Assist with ERP System Part Creation, Part and B.O.M. Maintenance across all sites.
  • Answer and return Customer phone calls in a timely manner and handle issues swiftly and professionally.
