About The Position

The Engineering Scheduler is responsible for organizing and coordinating design and layout work to help ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer requirements. This is a support role and does not include direct management responsibilities.

Requirements

Proficiency with computers including Microsoft TEAMs, Word, Excel, and Office.
Technical document control experience.
Effective written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to review and interpret concepts and to communicate necessary actions and requests clearly and concisely.
Knowledge of how work flows within Engineering and processing Engineering Change Order requirements.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate at all levels and have great interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, ability to handle high volume workload, and changing priorities in a high paced department.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain engineering schedules to meet project deadlines
Schedule and coordinate work for Designers and Layout personnel
Attend and participate in design and production coordination meetings
Identify scheduling or workflow bottlenecks and assist in resolving them
Review project scope to help establish realistic timelines
Communicate timelines and expectations with engineering, sales, and support teams
Track project progress and key milestones using Microsoft Office tools
Assign projects based on workload and priorities
Track and distribute engineering documents to customers and production
Process and enter new engineering project orders
Prepare and distribute design documentation to team members
Adjust schedules as needed to maintain deadlines
Maintain organized engineering document and standards libraries
Coordinate updates and creation of engineering standards with design staff
Other duties as defined by the Director of Engineering
