About The Position

The Engineering Project Manager will orchestrate the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact. The role is part of Apple’s Information Systems and Technology organization, specifically AI & Data Platforms (AiDP), which delivers AI and data platforms and solutions for Apple enterprise. The team combines data, application development, machine learning, generative AI, data services, and customer success to help IS&T build solutions efficiently and support adoption of generative AI across Apple.

The position supports enterprise data analytics and platforms, including an enterprise data warehouse that manages petabytes of data and processes billions of rows to provide insights and support informed business decisions. The role suits a project manager who enjoys new technologies and fast-paced application and product development and who can lead multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of industry experience in an engineering role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and database setup programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an international degree equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of relational and NoSQL database setups.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, database security, and compliance.
• Understanding of networking and storage.
• Around 1 year of exposure to AI or ML programs in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in high-stakes, fast-moving environments with efficiency, discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, independent, and proactive approach with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to triage, prioritize, and lead under pressure.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills for all levels of an organization.
• Experience with enterprise generative AI tools.
