About The Position

The SDS Privacy Engineering Program Manager is a high-visibility, cross-functional role between SDS and Apple’s Privacy Engineering, Privacy Legal, and Privacy Compliance partners. The position drives process, platform, and analytic solutions to ensure that data collection and data use decisions across SDS align with SDS requirements and Apple’s privacy standard.

Working with the SDS Privacy Champion, the EPM creates and maintains programs, processes, and engineering partnerships that keep SDS data practices compliant and efficient, and clearly communicate those practices to SDS and senior leadership.

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as engineering, math, or computer science.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical program management or project management.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and navigate evolving regulation to produce clear, actionable guidance.
• Ability to build and sustain partnerships across engineering, legal, and policy stakeholders, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to technical engineers and senior leadership.
• Track record of managing multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities and delivering reliably.
• Inquisitiveness and desire for continued self-improvement and development of new skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in privacy, data governance, regulatory compliance, or a related field; familiarity with GDPR, PIPL, DMA, DSA, or CCPA is a plus.
• Experience in fraud detection, risk management, or financial services data environments.
• Experience designing and delivering training or awareness programs for technical audiences.
• Self-motivated and energized by the opportunity to cut through ambiguity and build structure on a newly formed team.
