At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. Requirements

  • Practical experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and initiatives within a defined functional area
  • Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline
  • Understanding of how work impacts other areas of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree (or, for degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A))
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the medical device or other regulated industry (FDA, ISO 13485, design controls).
  • PMP, PgMP , or Agile certification (Scrum, SAFe ).
  • Experience managing large, complex, or global engineering programs.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering, hardware/software integration, or connected devices.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Experience with program management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external partners or vendors.
  • Experience with budget tracking, resource planning, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience supporting product development from concept through commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
  • May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
  • Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
  • Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
  • Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.
  • Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
  • Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
  • Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
