At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. Requirements
- Practical experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and initiatives within a defined functional area
- Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline
- Understanding of how work impacts other areas of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree (or, for degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A))
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the medical device or other regulated industry (FDA, ISO 13485, design controls).
- PMP, PgMP , or Agile certification (Scrum, SAFe ).
- Experience managing large, complex, or global engineering programs.
- Familiarity with systems engineering, hardware/software integration, or connected devices.
- Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
- Experience with program management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
- Demonstrated ability to manage external partners or vendors.
- Experience with budget tracking, resource planning, and executive-level reporting.
- Experience supporting product development from concept through commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
- May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
- Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
- Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
- Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.
- Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
- Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
- Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
- Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
