About The Position

The Hardware Test Engineering (HWTE) team is the critical link ensuring Apple's products meet the highest standards of quality and performance before reaching our customers. We design, develop, and deploy the sophisticated test solutions used in our factories worldwide. As guardians of quality at scale, we orchestrate complex and vital work that has a direct impact on the final product. In this role, you will orchestrate the development and deployment of test stations, from concept to mass production. You will work at the intersection of hardware, software, and control systems, providing leadership and creative problem-solving to ensure seamless execution. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in EE, CE or related field
• 5 years relevant industry experience in sensing technologies
• Knowledge of camera module development and technology fundamentals

Nice To Haves

• Background in Camera/Depth/Vision components, Image sensors and optics
• Understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis, design, process and test FMEA
• High volume consumer electronics calibration, testing and manufacturing experience
• Technical leadership and/or project management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to bring focus and transparency to complex situations while monitoring the bigger picture and the needs of a rapid development cycle
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering - EE/CE degree preferred, plus 5-10yrs experience
