Engineering & Product Operations Lead

MonacoSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Monaco is building an AI-native revenue platform that replaces the fragmented GTM stack (CRM, sequencing, call recording, enrichment, pipeline management) with one unified system. We’re consolidating 6–10 disconnected tools into a single, purpose-built platform and redefining what’s possible when all the data lives under one roof in the age of AI - this is a category-defining shift, not an incremental improvement. We launched publicly in Feb 2026 and are 50 people and growing. We have strong early product-market fit, creating millions in ARR in only a few months post-launch. Opportunities exist in both scaling core systems and workflows, and building new cutting edge features from 0 to 1. We’ve raised $85M through our Series B from legendary investors including Founders Fund, Benchmark, and Human Capital. Our founders are industry veterans who previously led companies like Brex, Apollo, and Clari. Come join us if you want to be part of a high autonomy, high pace team reinventing one of the biggest categories in enterprise software. We're looking for an Engineering & Product Operations Lead to help scale how our product organization operates. You'll work directly with the engineering and product leadership team to build the systems, processes, and operating cadence that help Engineering, Product, and Design move faster with more clarity and accountability and observability. One day you might be redesigning sprint planning, the next building a dashboard for executive visibility, coordinating a major launch, streamlining onboarding for new engineers, or eliminating a workflow that's wasting everyone's time. This role is part operator, part builder, part strategist. You'll sit at the center of the EPD organization and help turn a fast-growing startup into a high-performing machine.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience operating within Engineering, Product, or technical organizations at a high-growth startup.
  • Loves creating order from ambiguity while understanding startup dynamics.
  • Can move comfortably between strategy and execution.
  • Is highly organized without becoming process-heavy.
  • Can earn trust from engineers, product managers, designers, and executives.
  • Is technical enough to understand engineering workflows and systems.
  • Enjoys building internal tools, automations, and dashboards.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Notices inefficiencies and instinctively fixes them.

Responsibilities

  • Run the EPD Operating System
  • Own sprint and cycle planning, roadmap reviews, retrospectives, launch readiness, and other core operating cadences.
  • Drive consistency across Engineering, Product, and Design without introducing unnecessary process.
  • Ensure priorities, decisions, and accountability are visible across the organization.
  • Own and continuously improve our SDLC processes and tooling.
  • Build Visibility and Accountability
  • Create and maintain dashboards that track engineering velocity, roadmap progress, feature adoption, reliability, and customer-reported issues.
  • Surface risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies before they become problems.
  • Help leadership make better decisions with better data.
  • Connect Product, Engineering, and GTM
  • Serve as the connective tissue between EPD and go-to-market teams.
  • Translate product priorities into materials that Sales, Customer Success, and Support can use.
  • Ensure customer feedback, feature requests, and field insights make it back to the product team.
  • Coordinate launch plans, communications, enablement, documentation, and rollout readiness.
  • Improve Systems and Processes
  • Own intake and triage workflows for bugs, feature requests, and technical debt.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and remove them.
  • Build lightweight tooling and automations using platforms like AI Tools, Retool, Zapier, Linear, scripts, or whatever gets the job done.
  • Manage and optimize EPD tooling, vendors, and operational systems.
  • Support Team Growth
  • Own engineering onboarding processes and execution.
  • Coordinate Engineering All Hands and key team rituals.
  • Help maintain a high-functioning, low-drama operating environment as the company scales.
