As an Engineering Manager at P&G, you will be a critical leader, building technical mastery and guiding teams to deliver new product and process innovations. You will be responsible for tackling the most difficult engineering challenges, pioneering advanced manufacturing capabilities, and keeping P&G as the top producer of consumer goods in the world. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Science, Packaging Science, Environmental, Civil).
  • 0-5 years of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, research experience, academic count!).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop comprehensive technical solutions, and interpret data to drive decisions.
  • A strong technical curiosity and understanding to proactively develop new approaches to complex problems.
  • A strong desire and demonstrated capability to lead projects, manage timelines/budgets, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders (from operators to senior management).
  • Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact.
  • Willingness to relocate throughout your career.
  • Ability to travel 10-25% as business needs dictate.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience with industrial PLCs (Rockwell), process/machine control, sensors, motors, industrial automation, or computer/industrial networks.
  • Experience with Robotics, Machine Vision, or programming (Python, LabVIEW, Java, C#).
  • Proven application of mechanical systems engineering (3D CAD, CAE, machine design, mechatronics).
  • Experience in R&D, advanced manufacturing, or technical centers.
  • Specific expertise in packaging materials/processes and/or precision instrumentation/metrology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and implementation of complex control systems, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, and AI/ML solutions.
  • Build digital landscapes for production equipment and lead data analytics for control system improvements.
  • Lead all phases of mechanical process/equipment development and prototyping.
  • Deliver disruptive solutions using modeling, analysis, and hands-on prototyping, and identify emerging technologies.
  • Lead the translation of R&D innovations into scalable manufacturing processes.
  • Drive packaging material validation, create technical specifications, optimize production lines, and manage supplier qualifications.
  • Lead invention and refinement of material conversion and high-speed packaging technologies, driving advanced mechanical design and process optimization.
  • Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of precision instrumentation and metrology systems for quality control and performance optimization.
  • Lead conceptualization, development, and integration of cutting-edge robotic solutions for manufacturing tasks.
  • Lead sustainable engineering solutions (waste, energy, water) and manage site infrastructure projects.
  • Build long-term technical capability, lead adoption of advanced digital solutions, and ensure HS&E/Quality standards.
