About The Position

SPIROL is a global manufacturer seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for its headquarters in Danielson, CT. This role is 100% on-site and provides strategic leadership for the global Application and Design engineering function. The Engineering Manager is responsible for shaping engineering processes, standards, and technical direction, and plays a key role in implementing technology, structure, and process improvements through effective change management. The position ensures the effective delivery of corporate engineering services and oversees a disciplined design and project management process from design to manufacturing. The role also involves partnering with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and quality personnel for the successful transfer of technologies from development to practical application.

Requirements

A technical degree (preferably a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering)
5-10 years in an appropriate technical management position, leading a team of engineering professionals in a highly regulated market.
Strong demonstrated knowledge / experience with IATF / Core Tools associated with APQP.
Experience working in quality driven / highly regulated industries (particularly automotive or aerospace, heavy equipment or medical).

Nice To Haves

Master's in Engineering or equivalent Master's in a technical science area.
