Urgent requirement for a Technical Engineering Manager with strong AWS expertise and experience managing senior stakeholders in technology-driven organizations.

Requirements

  • Experience Range: With 8 to 12 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years managing engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions within the AWS ecosystem
  • Advanced expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and IAM
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, React, or TypeScript
  • Strong background in API design and implementation
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Operational knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging platforms
  • Experience with serverless computing and AWS Lambda optimization

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of advanced AWS security and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Background in cost optimization and performance tuning for cloud-native applications
  • Expertise in scaling distributed systems for high availability and reliability
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams across multiple distributed workstreams to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions
  • Establish and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within engineering teams
  • Drive engineering best practices, Agile delivery methodologies, code quality standards, operational excellence, and reliability across projects, ensuring measurable improvements in delivery velocity and quality
  • Own end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programs, including roadmap definition, execution planning, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation
  • Provide technical leadership for AWS-based cloud architectures, guiding teams in leveraging compute, storage, networking, serverless, databases, messaging, and security services
  • Drive modernization initiatives such as microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code to ensure scalable and resilient solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, facilitating executive-level discussions on technology strategy, engineering roadmaps, and transformation initiatives
  • Establish and monitor engineering KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction measures, driving continuous improvement to enhance delivery velocity and reliability
