About The Position

The Product Development & Realization Engineering Manager leads a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical engineers responsible for product development from design through validation, release, and sustaining support. The role is accountable for delivering high-quality, manufacturable products with strong technical rigor, process discipline, and consistent execution. It provides people leadership and technical authority, guides design decisions, ensures alignment with requirements, and drives execution across NPI, VAVE, engineering change, and customer-driven product configurations. In partnership with cross-functional teams and Engineering Systems, the manager ensures engineering outputs are complete, validated, and ready for production, bridging product development and operational readiness. The manager leads execution from concept design freeze through validation, release, and early lifecycle support; establishes standards for design quality and completeness; and integrates design, validation, manufacturability, and cross-functional readiness into release decisions. The role builds accountability through clear outcomes and performance metrics, reinforces disciplined engineering workflows, and leads structured problem solving and root-cause analysis to achieve sustainable resolutions. Ralliant is an independent public precision technology company with a global footprint. Gems Setra, part of Ralliant's Precision Technologies platform, supplies sensing and monitoring technologies, including products for liquid level, flow, pressure, humidity, current, vacuum, and energy measurement. The company describes its mission as delivering high-quality sensing solutions and creating a safer, healthier, more sustainable world.
