About The Position

We are hiring an Engineering Manager! As our first Engineering Manager in the US, you'll play a pivotal role in building and scaling Breeze's engineering organization while remaining deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of our product roadmap. This is a true player-coach role — part engineering leader, part builder. You'll lead a small but growing team of engineers in New York, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and delivery leadership while partnering closely with Product, Design, and our global engineering teams. You'll help shape technical decisions, contribute to architectural discussions, and jump into execution when needed, all while creating an environment where engineers can thrive. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership with hands-on involvement, thrives in fast-moving startup environments, and wants to help build both products and teams from the ground up.

  • Demonstrated success leading engineers while remaining actively involved in delivery and execution.
  • Experience building and shipping customer-facing products in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and helping teams grow.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch.

  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful customer-facing features and platform improvements.
  • Drive project execution and delivery, ensuring priorities are clear, risks are managed, and teams are aligned around outcomes.
