Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • 3–5 years of experience in seal, gasket, or similar product design within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, support customer-facing activities, and travel as needed.

  • Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of application engineers, ensuring high-quality technical output and customer-ready deliverables.
  • Serve as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams—driving solutions from concept through production.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand challenges, promote value-based solutions, and support product design and application development.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and field issues, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Oversee application testing and lab operations to validate product performance and support new and existing business.
  • Manage supplier technical performance, including quoting, failure analysis, and change management collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead multiple engineering projects across customers, balancing priorities while supporting continuous improvement and quality system compliance.
