Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their growing $20 million company in Grove City, Ohio. The ideal candidate will bring competency, ownership, and leadership to help the company meet rapidly rising demand. Advance CNC Machining specializes in producing high precision machined parts for various industries including equipment manufacturers, food, drug, and aerospace and defense. Requirements

• 10+ years of combined experience in design engineering
• Deep understanding of machining and related manufacturing processes
• Experience leading and mentoring direct reports including excellent communication and the ability to hold others accountable.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing design or production challenges
• Ability to guide engineers through concept development, 3D modeling, prints, tolerances, and manufacturability reviews
• A mindset focused on efficiency, quality improvement, and cost savings
• Demonstrated SolidWorks experience and fluency

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of mechanical engineers
• Leading performance management, including goal setting, feedback, and professional growth planning
• Optimizing engineering workflows to increase throughput, reduce waste, and streamline handoffs with production teams
• Troubleshooting design issues with an analytical, solutions-oriented approach
• Owning the Engineering group’s performance indicators and budget
