Engineering Manager

About The Position
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one or more product development teams within SINGU Group. This is a role built on trust — you'll own the people side of engineering (hiring, growth, performance) and the delivery side (shipping high-quality software on time), while working closely with Product, Design, and Platform Engineering to keep things moving. The Head of Software Engineering sets the direction; you make it real day-to-day with your teams.
Requirements
- Manage and grow Software Engineers and Tech Leads
- Own the full people lifecycle — hiring, onboarding, mentorship, feedback, performance reviews, promotions, and exits
- Build a culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
- Balance staffing across teams, reallocating engineers as delivery needs shift
- Own on-time, high-quality delivery of product features
- Align with Technical Account Managers to keep delivery on track with customer commitments
- Spot and clear the bottlenecks that slow teams down
- Champion group-wide SDLC standards and modern engineering practices — scalable architecture, secure coding, automation
- Push for better code quality, reliability, and testing discipline
- Partner with the Chief Architect on architectural direction
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality
- Define and track engineering metrics
- Create space for experimentation
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Technical Account Managers on roadmaps and prioritization
- Coordinate with Platform Engineering on QA automation, DevOps, and data/reporting initiatives
- Build real relationships with fellow Engineering Managers across SINGU Group
- Join regular sessions (online and on-site) across SINGU locations to stay aligned and connected
