About The Position

Coury Hospitality is hiring a Campus Engineering Manager to support the dual-branded campus of TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park in Sunnyvale, California. The two Marriott brands serve Silicon Valley’s technology, corporate, and campus-based clientele. The manager leads the Engineering team and oversees maintenance operations and building systems across both hotels, while supporting guest satisfaction and working with campus Operations teams. The role also supports the Director of Engineering with manager tasks and additional duties. The description notes that duties listed are representative and not exhaustive.

Requirements

At least 5 years of engineering or facilities management experience.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a polished, professional presence.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, campus-based team environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Engineering team.
Oversee maintenance operations across both hotels.
Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
Administer preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
Manage budgets, inventories, vendors, and capital projects.
Partner with Operations teams to support guest satisfaction.
Support the Director of Engineering with manager tasks and additional duties.
Support campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.
