About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage a team of electrical design engineers. This role involves overseeing the complete electrical design process, from initial quoting and concept development through to product launch. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including product management, mechanical design, operations, and purchasing, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electronics
10 or more years of experience in product design and development required.
Solid knowledge of SPICE, EM / Magnetic simulation, and circuit analysis.
Automotive products experience, such as Speed, Position sensors and Controls.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice To Haves

3 or more years of management experience preferred.
Extensive experience in electrical design, preferably in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of sensor technologies.
Experience in managing a Validation Lab, including test equipment selection, maintenance, and calibration strongly desired.
Knowledge of automotive quality systems, such as ISO/TS 16949, ISO 26262 and familiarity with automotive OEM requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of electrical design engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
Complete electrical design process, from quoting to concept development to product launch.
Collaborate with stakeholders (product management, mechanical design, operations, purchasing).
Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
