They are motivated by growth and learning while bringing experience to help others accelerate theirs.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years leading teams (people management and technical leadership).
  • Have experience scaling engineering organizations at a fast-growing startup or tech company.
  • Demonstrate deep sense of judgment on tradeoffs, architecture, and tooling; favoring supported, stable technologies over trends.
  • Display proven ability to deliver large, complex projects while keeping teams unblocked and motivated.
  • Demonstrate deep familiarity with backend systems, distributed architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Postgres; Node.js/TypeScript experience).
  • Track record of building diverse, high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive, feedback-rich culture.
  • Have the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels — comfortable in code reviews one moment and board-level discussions the next.
