About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and support manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving engineering initiatives, developing team members, improving processes, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a strong manufacturing background and a passion for continuous improvement. This is an office-based position typically operating during first shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday); however, flexibility may be required to attend off-site meetings, off-shift meetings, or events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 5+ years of engineering experience (manufacturing environment is preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including leading projects, mentoring team members, or supervising personnel.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, project management, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • 3D modeling/CAD software (Solidworks)

  • Ability to analyze detailed product specifications
  • Skills in understanding, counseling, and/or influencing people are important in achieving job objectives, causing action, understanding others, or changing behavior; and, skills of persuasiveness or assertiveness, as well as sensitivity to the point of view of others.
  • Must be able to properly communicate issues to supervisor, colleagues, and maintenance staff

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Promote standardization, problem solving, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Manage engineering team, including reviews, time off, and career development.
