About The Position

KDC/one Acupac is seeking an Engineering Manager to organize, deploy, and measure activities across the Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities departments. The position is focused on achieving high levels of safety, quality, service, and productivity. The manager leads engineering and maintenance projects, provides technical support and mentorship on the production floor, and oversees the Maintenance and Facilities teams and the site’s capital expenditure strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance.
At least 5 years of experience in a management or leadership position.
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, preferably involving high-speed and agile filling and packaging systems.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Manager (CPM) qualification.

Responsibilities

Manage projects related to reliability, continuous improvement, equipment installation, validations, and new product development; participate in engineering work and provide technical support, knowledge, mentorship, and floor-level guidance.
Manage projects through their full lifecycle, from initiation through operation, ensuring timely delivery, fulfillment of business and technical requirements, and adherence to agreed budgets.
Drive Lean Manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methods to improve safety, quality, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and cost targets.
Deploy reliability maintenance methods and strategies to optimize equipment performance, maximize uptime, and integrate maintenance with Operations.
Establish and maintain customer relationships and expectations by communicating site equipment capabilities and performance and executing the new product introductions (NPI) process.
Maintain ownership of the site-specific CapEx strategy, including budgeting and departmental execution.
Lead, assign, and manage Maintenance and Facilities team activities to achieve optimal safety, quality, productivity, and cost results.
Oversee the spare parts room, including inventory management, replenishment, and accurate record-keeping to support maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
Develop, lead, and coach teams responsible for the preventative maintenance program to promote proactive maintenance, prevent equipment failures, and extend machinery life.
