About The Position

The Operations Manager will lead Housekeeping and support Front Desk operations at The Warbler, a new 58-room boutique hotel on New Orleans’ historic St. Charles Avenue. The hotel includes Mildred’s Restaurant & Bar, a café, and a rooftop bar, and is preparing to open in September 2026. The role reports to the Assistant General Manager and partners closely with the Chief Engineer and Food & Beverage team. The position is full-time and pays $60,000 annually.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hotel leadership, management, or supervisory experience, ideally in Housekeeping or Rooms.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with hotel technology, including PMS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Boutique, lifestyle, or luxury hotel experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of Housekeeping and support Front Desk operations.
• Coach and develop a team focused on genuine, personal hospitality.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and departmental budgets for Housekeeping and Front Desk.
• Partner with the Chief Engineer and Food & Beverage team to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Champion guest preference and personalization systems so every stay feels considered.
