About The Position

This role involves leading multiple projects in parallel, ensuring commitments are established and met with regular stakeholder updates. The position requires experience within an Engineering design framework, including design reviews and tollgate processes. Responsibilities include managing requirement traceability, concept development, down-selection, detailed analysis, validation strategy and execution, and production launch. The role also entails strong decision-making, deviation review, and disposition of non-conforming parts. Independent drive and follow-up are essential, particularly in leading engineering engagement for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), which requires coordination with internal teams and external vendors. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary for interacting with leadership, cross-functional peers, and various stakeholders such as production, reliability, and sourcing. The role also requires hands-on experience in validation and product troubleshooting, navigating progress, and addressing roadblocks. Technical experience should include drawing, documentation, and procedure development, a strong understanding of GD&T, fatigue evaluation and life predictions, mechanical components design analysis techniques (Bolted Joint, FEA, CFD), and root cause analysis techniques.

10+ Years of experience
Experience leading multiple projects in parallel and ensure commitments are well establish and met with regular updates to stakeholders.
Experience and familiarity working within Engineering design framework for example a well-established design review / tollgate process.
