In this role within the Sewer and Water Utilities Division, your engineering expertise will support the Chambers Creek Regional Treatment Plant, the Cascadia Treatment Plant and the Collection/Conveyance system operating from the Sewer & Traffic OPs (STOP) facility. You will be leading teams for programs such as the Sewer Improvement Program, Sewer Development Engineering Review, Sewer Development Construction Inspection, outside agency interlocal agreements, sewer system standards management and more. Your focus will be on project planning/modeling, development review and inspection, system preservation assessment, and sewer code enforcement, ensuring reliable service across Pierce County. The department is responsible for the County road and levee systems, sewer systems, airports, ferries, building permits, environmental review, sustainability, community planning, and code enforcement.
