General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Engineering Manager to join our MQ-9 COCO team located in Poway, CA. This position reports to the Engineering Director for MQ-9 Emerging Programs and is responsible for the planning, management and support for the technical aspects of the Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) programs. Manages all phases of assigned engineering projects from pre-proposal, standup and fielding, through completion. Participates with technical staff, program managers and/or Division/Group executive management to develop and implement current, annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business and financial objectives for the Leasing Services/COCO business units. May also contribute to the development of annual and long-term objectives for the Division/Group. Objectives are typically accomplished through subordinate engineering managers and/or team leaders. May be responsible for decisions that impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time, resources, and funds.
