About The Position

Join a leading engineering organization at the forefront of innovation in nuclear infrastructure. This role sits within a highly specialized engineering team responsible for delivering complex civil and structural solutions for major nuclear projects in Canada. You will play a critical leadership role within the civil and structural engineering discipline, contributing to the safe, compliant, and successful delivery of large scale engineering programs. Your Role Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design, including functional, performance, environmental, and seismic requirements. Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals. Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design. Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply advanced civil and structural engineering expertise within large scale EPC and nuclear environments.
  • Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and providing clear, directional leadership.
  • Aptitude for interfacing with regulatory authorities and managing compliance documentation.
  • Ability to work within complex regulatory frameworks, including nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in managing engineering delivery across refurbishment and new build projects.
