About The Position

The Optical Communications segment has evolved into a comprehensive provider of optical solutions for the broader communications industry, serving both carrier and enterprise networks. This role supports engineering, maintenance, and process operations by coordinating various tasks including work orders, preventive maintenance, documentation, contractor management, safety activities, facility services, and production support.
Requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Manufacturing, maintenance, or process operations experience
- Basic problem-solving and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Technical training, associate degree, or related experience preferred
- Experience with CMMS systems, contractors, manufacturing equipment, or facility systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Schedule and track preventive maintenance and work orders
- Maintain equipment and maintenance records in TabWare or similar systems
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production and Engineering
- Support equipment upgrades, facility repairs, and contractor work
- Track documentation, audits, corrective actions, housekeeping, and 5S activities
- Support safety, compliance, pest control, and facility services
- Communicate across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Process teams
- Assist with continuous improvement and other plant support activities
