About The Position

The Process Engineering Technician plans, develops, and improves manufacturing processes across the facility. The role evaluates workforce, equipment, materials, quality, customer requirements, timing, and costs to support efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective operations. It supports continuous improvement, quality, and environmental, health, and safety initiatives by developing and optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and advancing operational excellence. The position also provides opportunities to build partnerships and grow in a business that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
Ability to improve processes, develop workflows, and communicate effectively with teams.
High school diploma or GED preferred; strong math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes using data, SPC methods, and Lean Manufacturing techniques to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Support new and existing processes by evaluating customer requirements, recommending improvements, and coordinating equipment, tooling, and capital projects.
Maintain compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards, including supporting PPAP, FMEA, control plans, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
Manage chemical and waste-handling processes, ensuring proper storage, labeling, disposal, and environmental compliance.
Support facility safety programs by coordinating inspections, monitoring critical systems, and assisting with fire prevention and emergency preparedness activities.
