Engineering Maintenance Manager
About The Position
The Engineering/Maintenance Manager leads and manages the Facilities Engineering team and oversees engineering operations, including the physical plant, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance. The role is responsible for ensuring healthcare-system infrastructure is efficient, effective, and compliant with applicable regulations and standards, while prioritizing patient care and infection control. The manager and other Engineering department roles use the CMMS work order system to communicate across the organization and manage activities and assets. Work outside regularly scheduled shifts may be required in emergencies or inclement weather.
Requirements
- At least four years of facilities experience.
- Valid driver's license and good driving history.
- Obtain Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification within three years.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
