About The Position

Dodge Industrial is seeking a summer intern at our Headquarters in Simpsonville, SC. This internship offers a foundation in product knowledge through hands-on training and facility visits, support for product selection and installation, and involvement in product development projects. Interns will collaborate with engineers on skill-appropriate projects, engage in Lean continuous improvement initiatives, and work with application engineers on product performance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited university in the United States.
• Must be currently authorized to work for Dodge Industrial in the US.
• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Collaborates well with others and is a good team player.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for new and changing ideas.
• Familiar with MS Office and SolidWorks.
• Ability to adapt and multi-task based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Build a foundation of product knowledge through hands on training and visiting our manufacturing facilities.
• Provide product selection and installation support and find creative solutions to customer issues.
• Assist with product development projects for all product groups.
• Collaborate with engineers on relevant and skill level appropriate projects.
• Engage in Lean continuous improvement projects focused on engineering processes and product design.
• Collaborate with application engineers focusing on product performance.
