Engineering intern

Interstates•Sioux Center, IA

About The Position

A Design Services intern supports Interstates with a variety of tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and construction. The role offers a dynamic, practical learning environment, working alongside experienced professionals and developing an electrical construction vocabulary. Interns participate in real projects and gain exposure to an electrical discipline, business operations, project management, safety, and other skills relevant to a future career. Each internship focuses on one discipline: Studies, Power, PDP (Planning Design & Prefab), Controls, Instrumentation, or Field. Responsibilities and learning activities vary by discipline. Travel to job sites or shops may be required depending on business needs and the internship.
