About The Position
Under the direction of Design Engineers or other responsible employee, provide assistance in the design and production of company products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related training and experience using CAD software, which includes AutoCad, etc.
- Experience with geometric tolerancing and statistical analysis.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales Department, communicate and assist the design engineer with customers to establish product parameters.
- Interface with tooling manager, production personnel, suppliers, etc. to reflect good production practices into product designs.
- Utilize various engineering design tools such as CAD to develop and evaluate product design concepts.
- Write product specifications and product test plans consistent with customer needs and internal requirements.
- Perform competitive product analysis and evaluation.
- Perform maintenance of quality standards information for QS9000/ISO9001 compliance.
