Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
  • Experience troubleshooting technical software or hardware issues, creating analysis tools and/or automating data sets
  • Experience scripting using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
  • Knowledge of integration, verification, or operational concepts
  • Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience in developing and evaluating hardware and test requirements
  • Experience with creating test procedures, test scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering activities that include integration and test, modeling and simulation, requirements analysis, data analysis, and ground test and flight test data analysis
  • Document analysis results in reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in key processes such as peer, gate, and test readiness reviews
