The City of Napa's Utilities Department is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering Intern (Extra Help) to join the Utilities team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with professional engineers and assist with various field and office tasks related to civil engineering and utilities systems. Typical hours are 7:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off. Depending on operational needs, the duration of this assignment is expected to be 2-3 months, with the potential for up to 6 months. This is an Extra Help position that is not to exceed 1,000 hours in a fiscal year (07/01/2026 - 06/30/2027). Extra Help and Part-Time employees are at-will and not covered by the Civil Service System.
