About The Position

The Engineering Intern - DevOps will collaborate and train with software engineers, learn software engineering best practices, coding standards, and tools, and manage a project from start to finish. Project work includes defining a solution, documentation, Jira management, development, and participating in the code review process. The role is for Summer 2027. Hourly pay is based on student standing: $23 for sophomores, $24 for juniors, and $27 for seniors and master's students.

Requirements

• Be a current student in a related bachelor's or master's program.
• Have familiarity with C++, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Have familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or GitHub.
• Have an interest in DevOps engineering and infrastructure work.
• Be able to collaborate with other software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and train with other software engineers.
• Learn software engineering best practices, coding standards, and tools.
• Manage a project from solution definition through documentation, Jira management, development, and code review.
