About The Position

In this role, you will lead one or more engineering areas across multiple manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for a team of engineers focused on defining and specifying how Semi-Permanent Mold and Precision Sand cast products are manufactured. You will also play a key role in the planning, procurement, fabrication, installation, and ongoing support of systems, equipment, and tooling required for complex, specialized, and unique manufacturing applications. The primary responsibility of this Engineering Group Manager (EGM) is to lead a team of engineers responsible for executing the casting manufacturing strategy for Prismatic Components across Transmissions and Engines. The EGM provides leadership and direction to the Process/Tooling team, supporting a team of 9–14 engineers. This team has significant opportunities to apply the latest technologies across both product and process for current programs, while leveraging lessons learned from global launches to improve the quality and efficiency of future systems through the Bill of Process (BOP) and Bill of Equipment (BOE). Work is performed in a highly collaborative team environment with daily interaction across Product Engineering (PE), Program System Engineers (PSEs), Manufacturing Engineers (MEs), and Manufacturing Operations Teams.
