About The Position

This 12-month Engineering Graduate Programme is designed for final year undergraduate or Masters students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines, or for fresh graduates from the class of 2026. The programme aims to build foundational skills through a development journey, including a global induction 'Engineering Bootcamp' week to immerse participants in the business and Engineering principles. Graduates will participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals, attend an 'Ignite' mid-point skills offsite, and have opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications with study days. The programme also encourages connection with the global early careers community and participation in CSR initiatives and volunteering. Graduates join on a permanent basis and are aligned to an Engineering Team from day one to foster development within a secure framework. Engineering roles at LSEG involve applying deep technical and analytical expertise to build, operate, and improve platforms, products, services, and models. These roles span software and platform engineering, reliability engineering, quality assurance, cyber security, service operations, service management, financial engineering, and data science, covering the full lifecycle to solve complex problems, ensure secure and resilient delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a product-led, data-driven environment. Specific tracks include Software & Platform Engineering, focusing on building and improving software, infrastructure, and systems, and Reliability Engineering, focused on identifying and reducing risks to performance and availability by developing tools and strategies to prevent issues and ensure quick recovery.
